Jakarta, March 7, 2026 — PT Dupoin Futures Indonesia held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program titled Ngabuburead 2026 in collaboration with the literacy community Umbrella Wisdom. The event took place at Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Kampung Dao Atas, North Jakarta, featuring various educational activities for local children during the ngabuburit period before iftar.

This program reflects the company’s concern for the living conditions in Kampung Dao Atas, which still faces various challenges, particularly in terms of environmental conditions and access to educational facilities for children in the area.

Kampung Dao Atas itself is a densely populated residential area in Pademangan, North Jakarta. Most residents work in the informal sector, such as small traders and daily laborers. The neighborhood is dominated by semi-permanent housing with limited facilities, and many families live in modest rented homes with relatively small spaces. These conditions limit children’s access to proper learning environments and educational activities.

Recognizing these challenges, Dupoin Futures selected Kampung Dao Atas as the location for this CSR initiative, aiming to provide enjoyable learning experiences while expanding educational access for local children.

A total of 45 children aged 3 to 12 participated in the program. Various activities were designed to foster a love for learning and improve literacy, including group reading sessions, interactive learning, creative classes, and educational games.

In its implementation, Dupoin Futures collaborated with volunteers from Umbrella Wisdom, who acted as mentors and facilitators. They guided the children throughout each activity, making the learning process more engaging and enjoyable.

Umbrella Wisdom is an educational community established in 2011, focusing on providing access to education for underprivileged children through volunteer-based interactive learning programs. Currently, the community supports more than 60 children aged 3 to 15, with the help of over 151 active volunteers involved in various educational and community service initiatives.

The Head of Marketing of Dupoin Futures, Taufan, stated that this initiative is part of the company’s commitment to creating a positive impact on society, particularly in supporting children’s education and literacy.

The Head of Umbrella Wisdom, Muhammad Fauzi, also expressed appreciation for Dupoin Futures’ participation, noting that the collaboration provided valuable learning experiences for children in Kampung Dao Atas.

Similarly, Ahmad Saefurrohman, a representative of Al-Ikhlas Mosque, welcomed the program and appreciated its implementation within their community.

The Ngabuburead 2026 CSR program represents one of Dupoin Futures’ social contributions during the Ramadan season, focusing on enhancing literacy and providing meaningful learning experiences for children in Kampung Dao Atas. Through this initiative, it is hoped that children will not only enjoy the learning process but also develop a love for reading, creativity, and self-confidence from an early age.

PT Dupoin Futures Indonesia built a borehole in Cinta Raja Village, Bendahara District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, as part of its CSR program “Sumatra Disaster Relief: Clean Water for Aceh Tamiang”. This program is aimed at helping residents affected by floods and landslides who are currently in the rehabilitation phase.

This initiative reaches around 300 families or about 950 residents who have had difficulty accessing clean water for about a month after the disaster. The construction process took three weeks from mid-January, starting with a geophysical survey to determine the water point, followed by drilling to a depth of 40-60 meters. The borehole has a production capacity of approximately 2,000 liters of water per day to meet the basic needs of the community.

This program was implemented ahead of Ramadan, when the need for clean water increases for worship and household activities. The availability of clean water facilities is expected to help the community carry out their fasting more comfortably.

The President Director of PT Dupoin Futures Indonesia, Gunawan Herman, stated that this initiative is part of the company's commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and Good Corporate Governance (GCG). “We believe that business sustainability must go hand in hand with social responsibility. This program is a tangible manifestation of the company's contribution to supporting community recovery after the disaster,” he said.

The Head of Cinta Raja Village, Salam Udin, said that the assistance was very helpful for residents who previously had difficulty obtaining clean water. “For about a month after the flood, the community was forced to use the available water, including floodwater, for their daily needs. We are very grateful for the construction of this borehole because now residents can meet their basic needs such as cooking, washing, and worshiping more properly,” he said.

The facility was built in the Nurul Huda Mosque area so that residents could collectively access water. The well is managed jointly with the local community to ensure the long-term sustainability of the facility's use and maintenance.

Dupoin stated that this program is part of the company's sustainability strategy to provide measurable social impact in various regions. The company considers access to clean water a basic need that is fundamental to the health and quality of life of the community, especially in disaster-affected areas.
